Sam & I hope that when you read our story you will see there is light at the end of the tunnel. As most of you know Sam has a daughter. For the past few years Sam has had to repay the State of Illinois the money his child's mother received for approximately eight years. What should have taken us almost 9 - 10 years to pay off took only 2˝ years! We were broke, but we were determined to pay off that debt. It feels as though 100 pound weights have been lifted off our shoulders! The extra money we now have will go towards a credit card and our land in North Carolina. We, too, know it feels good to have turned that bill into major dollar bills!

Getting out of debt was not
hard, but at the same time it was not easy.
We saw the get out of debt plan on the Kornegay
Family website & believed it was the answer to our problem.
We gathered our bills and followed the directions to
determine the order in which to pay them.
We took our “rainy day” money and applied it to the
first bill.
With hard work and determination we eliminated our bills
one by one.
When we moved to North Carolina we only had one major debt
which was our house.
We found that living debt free is exciting.
We no longer worry about due dates and owing any
one.
We now have extra money to do as we please, even with five
children! It feels good to have turned our bills into dollar bills!
